Fair’s fair

Where the others are still better.

GameDock does not try to do everything. Keep these for the jobs they do best.

  • Launching your games

    Playnite

GameDock is where your library lives, not where you start games from. Playnite is an excellent free launcher for Windows, with a controller-friendly full-screen mode, and it pairs well with GameDock.

  • Your library on a Windows PC

    Playnite

GameDock Helper runs on Linux for now, with Windows next on its roadmap. Until then, Playnite already knows what is installed on a Windows PC and where, and does it well.

  • Nintendo

    Exophase or PlayTracker

Nintendo offers no way for another service to read a Switch library, so GameDock cannot include one. Exophase and PlayTracker both read your Switch playtime from what Nintendo shows publicly.

  • Reviews and a community

    Backloggd

GameDock has reviews and follows, private by default and without comments. Backloggd has a large, friendly community and a real writing culture.

  • Achievement hunting

    Exophase or TrueAchievements

GameDock merges your achievements into your library. Exophase and TrueAchievements add rarity-weighted scores and leaderboards for people who hunt them.

  • Charts of how you play

    GameScrobbler

GameDock keeps a dated play history for each game, but per sync rather than per session. GameScrobbler records every session and turns them into detailed charts, yearly recaps and insights, for free.

  • Tracking on your phone

    GG

GameDock works in your phone's browser, but there is no app to install. GG has iOS and Android apps built for exactly that.

  • Deal hunting

    IsThereAnyDeal

IsThereAnyDeal is the expert at finding the lowest price anywhere. GameDock shows its cheapest Steam key beside the Steam price, and leaves the hunting across every shop to it.

Try it beside what you use now.

Nothing to move over. Connect your stores, and GameDock builds your library from them directly.
